Kota Kinabalu, Sabah · open daily 9am–9pm
Baked slow.
Served unhurried.
The AnnEdible Cakery: artisan croissants, cromboloni, cakes and coffee, made from scratch every morning at Wisma D'Sulaman Square.
"Flour. Water. Salt. Time."
That line is chalked on the wall of our sourdough room, and it's the whole method: no shortcuts, no pre-mixes. Dough is laminated, shaped and proofed by hand, in small batches, every single morning.
It's why the croissant you eat at 9am and the one you eat at 8pm were never meant to be identical. They're both just whatever came out of the oven that hour.
The hands that make it
No single face runs The AnnEdible. It's a small crew of bakers, pastry cooks and baristas who show up before sunrise to laminate dough, torch brûlée, and hand you your order with a grin.
